Monday morning started out a little hectic!! Got an emergency call or should I say voicemail since the cell issue in our area wouldn’t let us make or receive calls. Needed to work fast for removal so the customers home could get damages covered, and power restored for their medical needs. Also discovered before starting the process the tree had a honey bee hive, again we tried to make a call to save the hive but wasn’t successful in calling out.

Not sure how we actually Forgot to take a group picture this morning in the craziness of getting to our spot, kids who were Excited to pass out candy, keychains and ink pens in the parade!! Oh and don’t forget our last minute shirt making 😄

It’s been a busy couple of weeks of storm work and I’ve been more hands on at the locations out of town. Thankful for my Bookkeeper Barb for watching the emails, getting the ball rolling for permits and the many texts or calls to her with bits of details of other calls or tasks to be done as I remember them. David has been multitasking with quotes back in our area along with many other things he does!! Thankful to be busy but this destruction is terrible!!

Today we helped a customer in Gary who had 2 trees on the house, a tree demolished the pool and 2 trees on the garage. A couple of us found a mad group of bees while clearing the brush. So much destruction in the areas we’ve been to!!

I guess it was break time!! Honestly these guys have been working some long days with these storms!!

Divide and conquer today with our crews!! One group went to Chesterton for a tree on a building along with a partially uprooted tree removal before damage occurs. One group worked on a tree on a house in our hometown area. So much devastation in this area along with Hammond, Griffith and Valpo!!
If you’re in those areas and see contractors working to remedy this disaster offer snacks or water, with so much of the power out many businesses are closed!!

We found the car!!
