🙁 Sagging/Warping: A droopy or misshapen cover can't insulate effectively.
👃 Odor/Mold: A persistent musty smell or visible mold indicates water infiltration.
🌞 Fading/Brittleness: Sun damage (UV rays) makes the vinyl dry, brittle, and prone to cracking.

⌚ Regular maintenance and cleaning of hot tub filters are crucial to ensure the spas longevity. Clogged or dirty filters can lead to reduced water flow and can put extra strain on your hot tub’s pump or heater, causing potential damage to the system.

🚫 When cleaning hot tub filters, avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that can damage the filter material. Do not use bleach, this may cause damage to the filter material.

📅 Rinse your filter(s) at least every 2 weeks or after heavy use weather the spa is being used or not.

📆 Every 6-8 weeks soak filter(s) in a filter cleaning solution. Rinse filter(s) first, the next step is to soak them. Soaking allows the filter to be cleaned thoroughly, ensuring that it is free from any remaining dirt and contaminants. The ideal way to soak your filters is by using a filter cleaner. Soak the filter cartridge in the solution for a recommended time as per the cleaner’s instructions.

Next, rinse the filter thoroughly with clean water to remove any remaining cleaning agent. Make sure to wash away any leftover soap or cleaner residue.

☑ After cleaning your hot tub filters, it’s essential to maintain their cleanliness for optimal performance. Regularly inspecting your filters is a crucial step in ensuring proper maintenance. Check for any signs of damage, wear, or tear, and replace the filter cartridge when necessary.

We recommend most filter(s) to be replaced every 2 years for best results.
