This chimney was falling apart from water getting in, freezing, and popping the face of the brick off. During removal there was even water flowing out of the bricks!

We removed the brick down to the roof and built it back up. We also are applying a water proofing product to prevent this from happening again.

The pictures don’t do this one justice!

We had everything thrown at us on this project. During our inspection we found the original fireplace had multiple issues. That’s why we installed this Prior Fire XL which allowed us to keep this wood fireplace wood burning.

Our client had a vision for the finished project. She wanted it to look like it had been there for 100 years, just like the house. We even had a custom steel mantel made.

We resized the firebox, extended the chimney height, added a stainless steel liner, and poured a new concrete crown to protect the top.

The Ventis Forever Fireplace. This fireplace is all stainless steel construction, meant to last…forever.

This Forever Fireplace replaced the original fireplace from 1972. Check out the difference in metal and why these appliances have a life expectancy of 20-40 years.

Take a look at the pictures below to see what gave us a laugh. The original fireplace installation manual was taped to the back of unit. I’m sure the installers read it…🤣
