This type of language guts programs that offer opportuities for WBE and DBE businesses. These types of requirements help to LEVEL the playing field - not create unqualified businesses doing the work. IONIC is a WBE and has found amazing partners to work with as a result of these requirements, opening a door to work on larger projects as a valuable team member.

Celebrating 15 years! Thank you to all my wonderful clients, colleagues, family and friends that have supported this journey. Looking forward to continuing the journey. It is amazing that after 30 years of engineering, I still see and learn new things all the time. It's a joy to have a profession that provides such a wide variety of interesting and challenging opportunities.

Scratching my head a bit today:
I recently evaluated a structure (110+ y.o.) and determined it had great bones and should be a good candidate for re-use. It was torn down 😔
A different building that was (110+ y.o.) was in very poor and dangerous condition is being reused as a public space. 😟
Sometimes, even structures don't make sense. 🤔
