Most homeowners picture window replacement as pulling out the old glass and dropping in new, working around the existing frame. That's called a pocket installation.

We do full-frame installs instead. That means stripping the opening down to the studs and sheathing, like you can see around this patio door, before anything new goes in. It lets our AAMA Certified Master Installers check for hidden moisture damage behind the old frame and rebuild the flashing correctly instead of covering it up.

🏡Our team recently installed replacement windows on this early 1900s home, built when window openings weren't standard sizes and walls weren't always square. That's the tricky part of working on historic homes: no two openings are ever quite the same, and getting it wrong means gaps, drafts, and damage to original trim.
