It’s no secret the body piercing industry is going through some rough times right now.

There are genuinely unsafe things happening. I see things every day that leave me speechless. But I can’t control the industry I can only control what happens in my studio.

So as a studio owner, and someone who has dedicated the better part of her life to an industry she holds so dear, I’m going to keep doing what we do best: providing you with the highest quality jewelry on the market, continuing education, and holding myself, my team, and my studio to the highest standards possible.

That doesn’t mean mistakes don’t happen. They do. They happen to every piercer, myself included. But we show up to the best of our ability every single day, and when something doesn’t go right, we fix it.

Gone are the days of just popping into wherever is closest because it’s convenient or cheaper.

Research your piercer. Look at their healed work, not just day-one photos. Look for a portfolio that’s actually being updated. Look for someone who is still learning, still evolving, and still showing up.

Because “I’m a piercer” doesn’t mean what it used to anymore. 🩷

She paid good money for this jewelry. She was told it was “high quality.” Taking it out was still a nightmare.

Rough. Painful. Not even close to smooth.

That threading you can see on the post that’s what’s dragging through your actual piercing every single time you insert or change it. Not past it. Through it.

That drag irritates the piercing, causes micro-tears and can turn an already-angry piercing worse.

There is no such thing as high-quality externally threaded jewelry. Don’t be fooled by somebody telling you something else🩷
