So it looks like our quiet spring is over. still pretty far out, but wed into thurs could get quite interesting. dr gregg forbes who invented the " torn con " scale, which shows the probability of tornados in any given area has bumped us up from a 2 or 3 on thurs, to a 5. which is not good.
alot of variables will go into this, the timing, the cap, but dr forbes does not put out these warnings lightly. now we all know that storms seem to " go around the colony " one minute we have a huge line coming and just before it gets to the colony, it seems to split! half the line goes south, half the line goes north !
however, there is always that one time, please make preparations, practice with your kids, i know eyes will be rolling, but its worth it to teach your kids common safety for that " one time" .

Check out this video of Baseball-size hail destroying Celina, Texas this past Friday. The crazy looking clouds in spiral rolling motion are incredible.

“It sounded like big concrete just slamming on top of our house. It was horrible," said Denton County resident Felisha Greer.

Please share!!! I don't want any friends or neighbors to be scammed by bad roofers!

Rules worth sharing with your friends and family, regardless of whether you choose American Pride Roofing or not.
1. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING A ROOFER HANDS YOU!
Until you have vetted them and agreed to a price and know you are going to do business with them.
2. NEVER PAY ANY MONEY UP FRONT!
If a roofer doesn't have the capital or the credit to front the cost of your job for what should be only a few days, they likely won't be around to stand behind their work, and in worst cases are using your money to finish their last job.
3. NEVER SHOW THEM YOUR INSURANCE CLAIM UNTIL THEY PROVIDE A WRITTEN QUOTE!
They should be knowledgeable and professional enough to know how to measure your roof and provide a price without seeing how much insurance is paying you.
At American Pride Roofing we will inspect your roof for damage, provide a written quote up front, not collect a dime until the job is done and you are satisfied.
