This was a challenging yet invigorating experience as we layed over 400 sq/ft of tile. The customer wanted it so we delivered it! The outcome came out more than astonishing and I'm so happy we were able to overcome all the intricacies. This is what we call, the fortress.
- Custom mosaic band on bench
- Custom sloped masonry pan
- Custom shower glass with matte black accent trim
- Floating corner bench
- Rainfall shower head with handheld spray nozzle
- Curbless shower formed on slab
- Self-leveling tile technique for minimal lippage and ultimate uniformity
- Schluter accent trim

Wow. This was one of the most difficult items I had the opportunity to learn how to paint but nonetheless, the outcome came out phenomenally and the customer was happy!
Armed with an experienced Scherwin Williams rep and my resource of painters, we had tried every paint imaginable to tackle this window yet to no avail. This old-style aluminum frame would not take on the paint even with all the tricks from the trades. Acid wash, scrub downs, primers, oil & latex-based paints. Nothing worked. My resources had run out of options and my other painters didn't have a clue why this aluminum frame wouldn't take the paint. All the paint would *crackle* or *fisheye* which in terms meant that it looked like alligator skin in texture when it dried. I was able to determine a formula with my intuitive research which only one company here in Dallas could make. It was a specifically formulated acrylic laquer-based paint. I would like to thank Knox Paint in helping me obtain the materials needed to get this window done to perfection. I will use you in the future as my projects grow and here we go on to the next!

Here’s a door the I painted which was previously a bit rustic, old, and scratched. I sanded it down a bit and applied a couple of coats to turn it looking new and rejuvenated. I also installed the new polished brass hardware door k**b that’s in contrast with a gold tone. All in all, a beautiful accent for this customer and their home!

Here at another lovely customers home, we’ve came along and added additional floor space for the attic. We also went ahead and raised the R-Value of the sectional space by installing insulation! Another happy customer and another fulfilled day!
