Is your home ready for winter? ❄️
Fall is the last good chance to take care of your roof and gutters before the snow and ice show up. Here’s what we see every year:
🏠 Small roof problems get worse fast. A missing shingle, worn flashing, or a gap around a vent or skylight lets melting snow seep in. It freezes overnight, expands, and opens the spot up a little more every time.
🍂 Bad gutters lead to ice dams. When gutters are clogged, sagging, or pulling away from the house, water can’t drain. It backs up, freezes along the edge of the roof, and gets pushed under your shingles into the attic, walls, and ceilings. Heavy ice can rip a weak gutter right off.
🌬️ Ventilation matters. Ridge vents like the ones in these photos keep your attic cold and dry. That means fewer ice dams and less moisture damage all winter.
Swipe through to see a recent full roof replacement with new ridge vents, plus a skylight we installed and flashed in for a tight, leak-free seal.
We do full roof replacements, roof repairs, skylights, and gutter repair and replacement. Give us a call and we’ll come take a look. Estimates are free, and we still have a few openings before the snow hits.
Don’t wait for a water stain on your ceiling in January!
