Another brand new deck built and done. Around half an abive ground pool. Not a fun one with all the crazy complicated angles. But challenge accepted! Prolly our 10-12 deck this year. And they keep getting bigger and more complicated. But there isn’t anything I can’t build. So game on! Happy homeowners and thats what makes me the happiest! Cleaning up the pool is nextbon their list. And their back yard oasis will be finished. Love how this one turned out! Now wait for the next 2. Bigger, better and one with Trex/composite decking material. Growing like crazy! I lrayed for this. So I don’t bitch! Its what i have always done and always wanted to do!! Love what we do!! ☺️🔨🪚⛏️✏️🪏

Finished up on this Deck today that we got from a customer that we did their deck about a month ago. Her sister wanted one also.
Well, her sister needed one because of the one that she had was falling apart completely and very unsafe. As you could not even walk on it. It was basically just a shell of what was there at one time.
But we took the original footprint of the old Deck. Add a little bit of square footage through it not much. Supported it with two different kind of beams one being a counter lead beam. And anchored it to the house with anchor bolts and joy singers. This Deck ain’t gonna go nowhere and they’re gonna be able to enjoy it for a really, really long time. This deck sits directly in the sun so on this particular job, they will have to do quite a bit of maintenance on seal it to keep it looking as good as it does. But at the end of the day, their smile and they’re happiness is why I do what I do. They appreciation for our work and then also seeing how hard we were and don’t stop. Makes us feel good after we are done with the job.
Cause you know my right hand man Shawn helping me out with the Dexk I can’t do them by myself. We’re a two man crew. Will do the work of a 5 to 6 man crew.
This Deck out on Monday had it framed back by Thursday and was done with it on Saturday. Six days worth of word with actual real quality involved. I really do like this one and think it turned out great and it will fit their backyard very well. Can’t wait for the next deck. We have here in the next couple weeks. And then a bigger one to do after that one. Right now is just Dexk and Deck, Dexk and Dexk and Dexk. And we will take all of them that anybody wants to let us be able to do the work for. Again, my appreciation for these folks and them giving us work is beyond any words that I could explain. I am truly blessed.!

Wrap this deck up this morning, right as it was starting to rain. We battled the weather for this Deck here, but managed to be able to get days with no rain. Is 35 feet wide by 16 foot out. With a stairway that you can see going down to one side. I really think that this deck turned out very well and very sturdy. Homeowners are extremely happy and that’s what it’s really all about. It’s outside spring work weather so if you’re interested, give us a call. Try to get you in. But we also do a wide range of work not just Dexk. If you look through my page you’ll see all the work that we do. Feeling blessed. ❤️🔨🪚☺️

All finished up on the outside of these porches. The stain fancy trim will be in in the next couple weeks. These porches have really transformed this little cute house. And also gives it its own unique look of its own kind in the neighborhood.
Have to thank my friends, Richard and Kevin for getting me/use the work. As always, I appreciate any work coming our way. And especially from my friends, which makes it even better! And just reminds me how blessed I am to be able to do what I love. I do think these porches turned out very nice! Once they get painted and then the stained trim for the inside gets installed. It’s really gonna knock this house out of the park with the look of the outside. ☺️🔨✌🏼

Had fun with this build. As always built from scratch, to the size and opening the customer wanted. Built the bulk if this project in my shop. And than installed it all. Bam, a unique under the stairs custom belt, little dry bar area or what they will use for it. I’m not real sure. With the angles, I was a little worried, but it all came into gather very well and turned out really good. I did all the work on these from building them to painting them to staining the stuff to the install. Everything. Start to finish. Not much I can’t build. When somebody out of a division. I think I knocked this one completely out of the park and I think it looks absolutely amazing but that’s my opinion. I don’t get real cocky about my work as everybody’s work is as good as they put in.
We also had some flooring that needed to be cleaned up and fixed around some support post. Shawn cut the old pieces out and cut the steel back on the support so we could get the new flooring back down tight close to the post and also back in the place like it had already been there. And bam it looks like it should and he did a stellar job on it. Patching floors is not an easy thing to do.
All in all, I think this job turned out really well and I’m very proud of what we did. Now off to a deck to build for some folks. I’m excited to get on that because it’s quite big and we’ll be there for a few weeks. Works filling in which is a true blessing. And I am really blessed to have so many want me to do work for them that I cannot only tell you how much I appreciate you in so many ways. I try my best to not tell nobody know, but unfortunately, I can’t get to everybody. But we do do our best to try to. So if you’re looking for some work to get done. Give me a shout I’ll see what we can do for you. ☺️🔨🪚❤️

Eatlier this week we had a costumer that wanted to take out the dividing(supporting wall) out between their living room and dinning room. Which also opened it all up to the kitchens. We had a day to do this jobZ so we git there and straight to work. Bad thing is I didn’t get any finish pics of the wall that was taking out. But all n all this should show the prosess amd all we did in a days work. Long day. But a days work.
Completely opened up and transformed there house! Love the open concepts that we can make happen for folks in older house. Mrs. Homeowner came home from work blown away! Made it all with!!
We love what we do, do some of the best work around. Because we are old school in the way of caring about the jib, work and the finish. Love it.
This year is picking so fast. We are gonna be busy bee’s. And I am grateful and blessed for that! 🔨🪚☺️🫰

A few small job I did this week. Installed some gable vents in a house to get more air flow through their attic. Since they had none and the insulation folks covered up the soffit vents with their insulation. Womt be so hot up there in the summer now. *Folks ya have to have air flow in your attic. Or the heat and cold can ruin your decking and or shingles.
Than finished up on this little cabinet jib I did last week with a friend. And added a toe kick vent, pull out trash can and they also had some windows in their cellar that needed covered up. Old houses have these small windows that are hard to maintain with the weather and small animals. So we covered them up with 2” insulated foam board. And fiberglass installation behind the board between the window and found board. And that gorilla taped it in. To see tight. And also that way they can remove it if need be. Works great. Have done this in my basement for the last 20 years. And it keeps things nice an warm down there like a cellar or basement should be.
Now to get to work on a deck this week. Should have great weather to be outside! Can’t wait.
More work the merrier we are. Always like to stay busy. From small jobs to big jobs. And handy man stuff when we need to fit it in.
All jn all everything turned out great and work perfectly! ✌🏼☺️🔨

Helped out a friend fix some old cabinets the other day. By replacing the sink base bottom out, because it had water damage so bad that the bottom was gone. Added a couple shelves to an old oven stack cabinet. And made a new cabinet to set along side the sink to make it into a pull out trash can cabinet. Kevin Parker framed out the old shelving to make the pantry style shelving really pop and make it more stable. As the old shelving was sagging and needed supports to keep it. Than the 1x's really made it pop and turn out great. Already for the new paint on these cabinets, plumbing, counter tops and new sink that doesn't leak. just a day job for us. But once it's all done. It will all look like a new kitchen and have no worries about the old problems it had. Another happy home owner and Kevens Annt. Makes it all worth it to see these home owners happy when they see it all done. ☺️😉
