We started business in the state of Connecticut as Driscoll Building & Remodeling LLC back in 1982. Prior to that, Mike worked with his father and grandfather in New London and Windham counties. They were successful building contractors and worked for over 40 years in the more prominent sites in the area. With Driscoll Building & Remodeling LLC, we did approximately 10-15 roofs each year. Word got

out about our work, and we started getting phone calls from other contractors’ clients – unsatisfied customers – ones who weren’t happy with how their roofs had come out, the workmanship, and the quality – or lack thereof. After receiving so many calls, we decided that, instead of just fixing other people’s mistakes, we would start our own roofing company and do it right the first time. Pre-Storm Preparation
Build an emergency kit with essential items including water, flashlights and batteries to meet the unique needs of your family. Find a suggested list of items at ready.gov
Stock up on non-perishables, such as canned goods and pet food, and make sure you have adequate medical supplies and prescriptions for yourself and your pets.
Save your valuable computer work by purchasing a battery-powered back-up power source—it will provide power to your computer long enough for you to save your work and shut down properly.
Charge cell phones.
Download and print the storm safety checklist to keep handy if you lose power.
Know how to install and operate a generator safely.
Make sure your car has gas in it.
Make a list of emergency phone numbers or program them into your cell phone. Handy numbers to have include the Red Cross, fire, police and a family doctor.
