A remodel is a big thing to trust someone with. You’re letting a crew into your home and counting on them to follow through long before you get to see the finished space.
That’s why the day-to-day matters to us: keeping you updated, treating your home with care, and paying attention to the details along the way. The finished work should be something you’re proud of. The process should give you confidence in who’s doing it.

The finished kitchen is what you see. The planning behind it is what makes it work.

Before a remodel takes shape, there are decisions about how the room will function, how the materials fit together, and what needs to happen during the build. Swipe through for a look at that process and the details that came together in this space.

More than a kitchen.
The warm wood island gives this space a place to gather. Blue-gray cabinetry brings balance, while the backsplash and built-in bar give it character. Every view has something to notice.

Which detail caught your eye first—the island or the bar?

A winter remodel starts well before demo day.

First, we figure out what isn’t working in the space. Then come draw out the layout, talk materials, fixtures, and the time needed to get everything in place. Making those decisions early gives the project a clearer path once construction begins.

It’s easy to start a kitchen remodel with a picture of how you want it to look. The better starting point is how you need it to work. Do you need more storage? A layout that flows better? Space for everyone to gather without getting in each other’s way?

Those answers help guide the layout, materials, and details that come next. If a kitchen or bathroom remodel is on your mind this fall, tell us which room you’d change first. Ready to talk through the project? Send Basham Construction a message to request an estimate.

Another beautiful bathroom renovation complete!

This bathroom received a complete transformation while preserving one of the homeowner's favorite design features. We carefully extended the existing blue and white decorative tile around the room so it blends seamlessly with the original installation, while creating a bright new walk-in shower with large-format tile, custom glass, and brushed bronze fixtures.

It's always rewarding to combine timeless details with modern design.
