Before - 15 year old sunken river rock with fabric that had failed and allowed the w**ds and grass to grow through. The cobblestone border was too high maintenance for our clients liking, and also sunken in over the years.

After - Fresh Meramec x Autumn Smoke decorative rock, with brand new woven fabric that will last another 10-15 years. Now they’ve got a new look to match the house better, with ample space for all their decorations.

In any outdoor service industry you’re bound to run into animals, and we feel firmly that they deserve the same treatment as any other being on this planet.

We are committed to helping not only our local communities, but our local wildlife too. Any time we find injured or orphaned animals such as stray cats or dogs, raccoons, rabbits, or in today’s case - an injured opposum, we’ll always do what we can to help out.

We couldn’t do any of this without the medical professionals and volunteers that help us do the heavy lifting, such as the Dupage Wildlife Conservation Center in Glen Ellyn, The Anderson Humane Wildlife Center in Elburn, and Triple R TNR in Mokena. A big thank you to those three organizations in specific.

Our customer approached us in need of some mulch and a cleanup before they list their home for sale. After removing the w**ds and excess mulch, we trimmed the bushes. We added some new flowers and a couple sedum plants to fill the empty space in the front and match the existing plants. We followed that up with a spade edge and installed 2-3 inches of fresh dyed brown mulch.

A freshly landscaped home will sell faster, and for more. Your landscaping is often the first thing a buyer or a guest looks at, so make a good impression with a cleanup from the curb appeal experts!

This customer approached us with an interesting issue. Their backyard was 5 years old, and this spring 3/4 of the backyard decided to drop dead inexplicably. Our running theory is poor soil quality, poor sod installation by the builder, and soil compaction led to its eventual demise.

We allleviated these issues by harley raking the lawn to remove any w**d growth, while also pulverizing the existing topsoil and loosening up the surface. We then amended the lawn with 2” of new topsoil, and reseeded with a quality Kentucky bluegrass seed mix.

After a few weeks worth of watering this lawn should start to be back in shape and ready to thrive in the fall.
