COVID-19 update: To our valued customers,
We hope your stay at home has been healthy and happy thus far and continues to be.
Like most businesses we see the need to inform our customers of our status and stay in communication during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are focusing on following the recommendations of the State stay at home order. We’ve also been following state and national guidance recommendations from landscape trade organizations like the ONLA (Ohio landscape association) and the NALP (National association of landscape professionals). The consensus of our industry is that our essential services to commercial and residential customers should be continued. Is deemed that we fall under section 12-k (critical trades for essential operation of commercial business and residences) I’ve also spoken to most of our landscape chemical & product manufactures and distributors and they plan to stay open for the supply chain to businesses like ours.
At Mulch Rite, we plan on continuing essential services and limiting some others.
• Our office, scheduling and office related work like landscape design will continue as normal.
• We will continue mowing, bed cleanup, maintenance, lawn chemical applications, urgent tree and or debris removal, and product delivery.
• We will also continue in a limited capacity, our mulching and landscape services with focus on essential and operating commercial business.
• For now, we will be delaying and rescheduling some residential non-essential mulch installation, aeration, and landscape work. (For a couple weeks until the re-evaluations process is done)
Our intention is to maintain the necessities your property will need so that it stays in presentable shape through this time and will not need any major recovery work once everyone’s schedule returns to normal.
Please be advised that even though the nature of our industry is outdoors and at safe distances, we are taking extra precautions with close contact, sanitation, travel, PPE, and work processes. We will not knock on your door during this. We will simply show up do a great job at our task and leave you uninterrupted as much as possible.
Please contact us if you would like to postpone any services until the stay at home order is lifted and we can discuss options. We thank you for your patience and continued support during this time.
With best intentions,
Gary Teach
