A Different Kind of Delivery! 🍼

Kyle Gunter has helped deliver plenty of construction projects at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas as a Project Manager for Cannon Building, however his latest delivery was undoubtedly his most memorable!

This time, Kyle traded construction schedules and project milestones for a very special arrival: the birth of his son! There is something especially meaningful about welcoming a new life into the world at the very hospital where you have spent so much time helping create spaces that care for others.

Cannon Building joined the region’s architectural and construction communities at the 2026 AIA Orange County Design Awards to celebrate exceptional design and the people behind it.

Held at Edwards Lifesciences in Irvine, the evening carried special meaning for our team. Having completed numerous projects on the campus over the years, we enjoyed celebrating architectural excellence in a setting with a longstanding connection to our work.
