Customer called stating that it seems as half of her house lost power. It was windy outside and I was over an hour away working. I told her to start with calling the power company. They don’t charge a fee to come check their connections. She called back and said everything was good on the pole and meter socket. Come to find out her exterior disconnect was burnt up. Installed a new one and got power back on for her in less then 45 minutes.

10+ years after a remodel and a screw going through the wire it finally caused a small fire. Thankfully the home and homeowners were safe.

Another happy customer in Barnstead. Was happy to wrap up his new build. Whole house is done in backlit wafer lights.

I hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July. One family got lucky when they said they have no lights in the bathroom and the breaker won’t stay on. After a little troubleshooting Friday morning I found this hiding in the bathroom fan.

Don’t usually work Saturday but the school asked if I could to accommodate them. Sure thing I try to accommodate everyone. Replaced the old fluorescent T-8 with LED ballast bypass lamps, removed and disposed of ballast as well.

Feels great to help out a woman who spends countless hours making Easter baskets for kids here in town and the surrounding communities.

Clocks change tonight and set us back an hour as daylight savings ends. When you set your clocks back be sure to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Also the life expectancy of them is 7-10 years. Be sure to keep your family safe.

To everyone that came out to our first annual Meet the Coaches night for Pittsfield Youth Athletics. We enjoyed seeing you all, and catching up before the season kicks off next week.

Reminder: We do have our on going cleat drive stocked thanks to Dan Ellis of Riverside Electric LLC so if you are in need of a pair of cleats for the season, please reach out or talk to your coaches so we can get you set up. If you need balls, these were donated and are free! So be sure to take one home to practice with 🙂

Last but certainly not least, huge shoutout to all our volunteers tonight making it happen! Whether it was manning the grill, serving food, or helping set up/take down, we couldn't do it without you.

Don't forget to check your emails for the volunteer spreadsheet that went out and pick your dates to help out PYAA.
