Most of the time, we post photos and documentation of recently completed projects.

However, it is important for us to periodically highlight events and groups that inspire and motivate us in all of our efforts.

Celebrating our 77th year, our relationships with the community, local groups and customers are the lifeblood of who we are.

With that in mind, we wanted to reflect on what a great experience our folks had in participating and sponsoring the 2025 Wounded Warrior Pheasant Hunt which is run by Forbes Road Hunting Club.

Our VP of commercial waterproofing, Chris Smith, along with his trusted and accomplished sidekick, Ranger Smith, are always heavily involved in this event. Chris has found this event and collaborating with The Wounded Warriors, to be an extremely rewarding experience. He and Ranger will ALWAYS find the birds!!

In collaboration with StoneMile Group LLC and Steve Riffe, we just wrapped up the finishing touches on the beautiful West Virginia Northern Community College B&O building in Wheeling, WV.

This was a complete masonry restoration project of this great building. Work included cleaning, pointing, caulking and brick and stone replacements.

During the course of the project, our management team, headed by Scott Markwood, identified and diagnosed a severe structural issue which made the backup steel and masonry of the building vulnerable to failure. At that point, the contributions of Carol Stevens of CAS Structural Engineering, Inc. and Phil Warnock of Chapman Technical Group proved invaluable in arriving at the best possible solution.

This led to all terra cotta elements on two elevations being re-built with extensive structural steel and back up masonry replacement which included approximately 200 decorative terra cotta units. These were expertly replicated by Mike Siebold and Superior Clay Corporation and installed by Mariani & Richards skilled team of Masons overseen by Tom Murray.

Upon completion, this beautiful building will stand fortified for decades to come.

We are honored to have recently completed our second year of an ongoing maintenance program at the beautiful and historic Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum Trust, Inc.

The most recent work involved cleaning, pointing, patching and coating decorative terra cotta elements of the parapet. This beautiful ornamental terra cotta includes majestic eagle’s heads and many other unique features. This collaboration required a great team including Bobby Kimball from PVEDI & James Mchale from Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum Trust, Inc.

We are extremely proud to be affiliated with the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum Trust, Inc. team and all of their unrelenting commitment to our armed forces.

We look forward to continuing these efforts next year!
