The sun was shining, and so was Mark Duane’s grilling game. ☀️

Safe to say, he looked the part in his HDG apron! It’s always fun getting the whole HDG crew together, especially when Mark is behind the grill.

Our annual fall cookout featured sizzling burgers, hot dogs, and all the fixings you can imagine. We had one very important question for the afternoon: is Mark accepting reservations for private cookouts, or is this a once-a-year deal?

Happy World Architecture Day!

There’s a lot that goes into bringing a project to life, and we love being part of every bit of it. From the first conversation to the final details, it’s rewarding to watch an idea take shape and become something that people will use and enjoy for years to come.

We’re proud of the work we do and the people we get to do it with.

Prepare for takeoff! ✈️
Last Wednesday, our team had the opportunity to tour the CCBC Aviation Facility, and construction is moving quickly! The spaces are already starting to take shape, and if it looks this good now, just imagine how great it will look when it officially reaches Substantial Completion.
🎥Keep watching to experience the site alongside our staff as they walk through the project!

A midweek happy hour was just what we needed!

On Wednesday, we changed up our typical all-firm happy hour and broke off into small groups - Project Architects, Architectural Designers, and Leadership & Admin teams. This gave us the chance to have more meaningful conversations without having to shout across the table. It’s hard to complain about a workday that ends with good company and a full table of appetizers and drinks!

22 years ago, when flip phones were the norm and Facebook was just getting started, our President, Mark Duane, began his time with HDG Architects. Over the past two decades, Mark has helped guide HDG’s growth, expanding the firm’s work across a variety of disciplines. His steadfast commitment has helped make HDG what it is today.

Since joining HDG last September, Lydia Shaw has proven to be a valued member of the team, contributing to various projects in healthcare, K-12, and higher ed.

We can’t wait to see what the future holds as these staff members continue to bring their expertise to the firm.

It's an exciting project and we are happy to be working with you on this!
