When we started USA Field Services, we brought years of experience building businesses in the pipeline industry, from land services to timber clearing, restoration, and pipeline construction.

But one decision changed everything.

Hiring Nick Gumm as President. Nick is a generational pipeline inspector.

He brought decades of field knowledge, operational insight, and a perspective that only comes from living the work every day.

Going to be straightforward with you right now.

Inspectors don't ask for much. Get paid on time. Show up to a job that's actually ready. Have certs already submitted, so they can just go to work.

But somehow that's still not standard in this industry.

Guys are auditing their own paychecks. Showing up to sites where nobody sent the paperwork. Getting sold on benefits that don't look anything like what was described when it's time to use them.

We got tired of hearing those stories.
