Groundbreaking ceremony… with a little paint! Today marked the official start of the restoration project for the North Park Observation Tower. Allegheny County Parks Foundation held a groundbreaking ceremony this morning and capped the event with a symbolic first brushstroke of paint.

Mascaro will complete structural repairs, interior and exterior restoration, sandblasting and repainting in the original silver color, and safety upgrades.

Last week, Mascaro hosted four high school students for our first Construction Connections event. The students spent the day learning about different careers in construction through hands-on activities, a panel discussion with various construction professionals, lunch with the CEO, and a visit to one of our job sites.

It’s National Dog Day, and we’re celebrating the pups who have completely stolen our employees’ hearts—and sometimes their paychecks, too!

These adorable pups definitely don’t live the ruff life. They’re behind countless trips to the store for toys and treats, muddy paw prints on boots, pup cups added to coffee orders, and, most importantly, lots of love in our employees’ lives! ❤

D**k, smash, win! Are you ready to get your pickleball game on? You can now play pickleball at Arts Landing! The courts are part of the four-acre outdoor space, which also includes a one-acre great lawn, performance stage, garden walk, playground, courtyard, and many pieces of public art. The pickleball courts are open to the public and also serve as a public art ground mural.

Open for business! Today, North Central West Virginia Airport officially opened the doors to its new terminal! Mascaro completed construction of the new three-story, 52,600-square-foot terminal, which is four times larger than the previous terminal and will serve more than 100,000 passengers each year.

A new perk for passengers? A baggage conveyor belt that allows passengers to collect their bags indoors for the first time at CKB!

Being a family company can definitely come in handy when something comes up and you need someone to fill in at the last minute… you just don’t tell them they’re going to get wet! Last week, John Anthony represented Mascaro and got soaked for the The ALS Association of Western Pennsylvania.

To date, team Mascaro has raised over $6,000 to support local families and ALS research, and there’s still time for you to donate and join our team!

Today, we celebrated some of the future leaders in construction - our 2026 Summer Interns!

After eight weeks of working alongside their coaches, our interns came together on National Intern Day for a peer discussion, lunch with our COO, and jobsite visits to one of our commercial building projects and one of our industrial projects.
