Now let’s get back to posting these projects from the year again. Over the next few weeks I’ll be posting every other day so we can get caught up to todays work, so next up on the project list all the way from February was all new SmartCORE flooring and baseboards throughout the whole first floor. Out with the rotted bamboo flooring, outdated tile, rough carpet, and all the black mold underneath. In with the new flooring that pairs with the stained doors and windows so well

Next up for the project list of 2024 was the replacement of these railings, new steps and a fresh coat of paint on the walls. From a very outdated railing with rod iron balusters to a fresh all black red oak railing. Quite the classy look wouldn’t you say?

Well it’s been a nice little hiatus from social media but we’re back! A post hasn’t been made in a few months nor have any pictures been posted from any of the projects this year so now over the next few weeks I’ll be uploading all of them in order.

First off from the year was a beautiful transformation for this basement. I never took any before pictures but it was bare concrete block, concrete floors, and an exposed ceiling. Now, this basement is complete with a closet for the water meter and the electric panel, along with a whole separate walk in for the laundry room and more storage. With Sherwin Williams Pure White paint on the walls and ceiling and the flooring installed by Riverview Carpet, it is now a complete basement for the whole family!

Well it’s only been about 5 months since an official post so it’s time to catch up on what we’ve been doing!

First off, if you remember from watching the stories is this total bathroom remodel that was back in November/December. We took almost the whole room down to the studs and redid it all. Framing, plumbing, electric, painting, tile, you name it we did it.

It was certainly a challenging project with it being such a small space to do so much but it sure came together in the end!

One of the last deck renovations of the year!

This deck reno was up there on the list as one of our favorites for the year, mainly because it only took us 5 days!! We only ran into a little bit of rot in the framing that wasn’t expected but that seems to be the case with every renovation. But with new deck deck boards and a new railing this deck made a total transformation. What do you think?

Decking: PRIME Deck Boards in ‘Dark Cocoa’
Railing: Avalon Aluminum Railing with Drink Rail

If you followed along with the very sporadic instagram stories you’d know we’ve been working hard lately and we finally finished up the largest deck renovation yet!

Originally we were supposed to just install new deck boards and new railings but of course some things weren’t expected like finding some rot, termite damage, ant infestations, etc. Some things you just don’t know about until you start removing the boards. We replaced all damaged framing, added extra framing to sure up the structure, replaced both staircases, installed drainage to keep everything dry under the deck, and lots lots more.

Decking: Silver Maple
Railing: Radiance Rail with drink rail

From beginning to end, we do it all for a deck!

FINALLY the pictures are here from the most recent deck build. Pictured above was 18 days of hard work to build this humongous beautiful deck. Up two steps to the 16’x32’ deck that wrapped around a tree and down to the yard on a 16’ wide staircase. We were able to use ‘Woodland Brown’ just before it was discontinued as well!

Couldn’t be happier with the outcome of this deck and the crews hustle to get it done. Now it’s time for your deck build!

The first group of pictures of the First Floor Remodel in the 100 year old house!

Looking at this space now compared to what it was is absolutely mind blowing.

Between our crew and the subcontractors, there’s roughly 600 man hours into this project and we absolutely changed the dynamic of the whole house. From an outdated and partially worked on kitchen and dining room, torn to the studs and then built into an area for everyone to enjoy all together! We and the homeowners couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
