RDCollab's Ken Doyno, Robert Tuñón, and their families attended the opening night of Latin American Cultural Center LACC's new exhibit, "Crossroads of the World: Panama."

Leading up to the opening, RDCollab and Robert, a dual citizen of the US and Panamá, contributed cultural items to the exhibition including a highlight piece, the pollera montuña santeña (traditional women's dress of Los Santos, Panamá).

Plan your visit to LACC and don't miss this exhibit that explores Panama's unique place as a bridge between continents and cultures open now through June 2027.

Congratulations to Second Harvest on achieving this remarkable milestone! It's inspiring to see their solar array project realized and to witness the continued positive impact they are making in Sharpsburg.

Second Harvest Community Thrift Store has been a bright spot in Sharpsburg for years. Now the Clay Street facility is helping to power even more good in town. Its rooftop solar array, installed in 2022, generates more energy than the store needs. Over the last year, it has resulted in

We were excited to attend The Standard on Fifth's ribbon-cutting ceremony! Beacon Communities' newest addition to Pittsburgh's affordable housing landscape offers 51 modern units along the new busway in Uptown, in a highly energy-efficient Passive House building.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: It was great to bring the RDCollab office to the site and share the progress on Gwen's Girls' new home!

The space is designed to serve young girls & women, their families, and the whole community by creating inspired spaces for everyone’s use. We can't wait for this facility to open soon, as we know the profound impact it will have on the community thanks to the Gwen’s Girls organization! We have been honored to be the Architects of this meaningful project, alongside our team of Sheena Hancock Interior Creations, Taylor Structural Engineers, and Allen + Shariff Corporation.

We're thrilled to welcome back Shreeja Harisrikanth to Rothschild Doyno Collaborative, this time as a member of our architectural staff!

After joining us last year as a summer fellow, Shreeja has returned to RDCollab full-time, earning her Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University. She is passionate about how architectural storytelling and narrative shape our understanding of individual experiences within communities and inform better design solutions. Her skills in hand drawing, animation, and fabrication are integral to her process of designing architecture that serves people.

We look forward to seeing where her creativity takes us next. Welcome back, Shreeja!

Congratulations to Ryan Lipscomb on earning his Living Future Accreditation (LFA)!

An LFA granted by the Living Future Institute “recognizes and rewards proficiency in the most ambitious, advanced, and holistic regenerative design standard available.”

Ryan has been a passionate advocate for sustainable design, and pursuing an LFA was the next logical step in honing that passion into a real tool for change. "We are at a point in architecture when environmental harm reduction is not enough. I was inspired by Living Future's commitment to regenerative design, and the dream that a building could give back to the community AND our planet."

For Ryan, accreditation has been a galvanizing experience that has expanded his ability to more deeply advocate for a healthier, more equitable future.
