Student Painters is a student-owned and operated organization that provides our local neighbors with exceptional painting and pressure washing services. We are looking for local students to join our 2022 painting crew. This will be a great opportunity to work within a team environment.

Job Responsibilities:

-Applies various finishes to buildings, rooms, or other structures, including primers or sealers
-Prepares, cleans, and tapes all job sites
Removes old paint coating, if necessary
-Mixes colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency
-Moves necessary materials around the job site as assigned
-Cleans up worksite debris

Qualifications:

-Must be a current high school/college student
-Must either own a vehicle OR have reliable access to a vehicle for summer
-Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers
-Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
-Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety
-Comfortable with heights; willing to spend time on ladders

Compensation:

Hourly rate of $14
Overtime rate of $21
Paid weekly

Job Overview
16 – 18 hour work week Monday through Thursday

Job Responsibilities Generates and follows up on leads through personal contacts, provided lead lists, and interaction with the public Organizes daily schedule to efficiently pursue new accounts and service existing contracts Obtains orders and follows up with related departments and customers to ensure satisfaction Modifies sales approach and presentations quickly through observation and analysis of sales outlets, venues, and prospect needs and reactions Proactively studies existing and prospective customers to forecast sales opportunities Presents regular reports to keep management up to date on results of all planned and unplanned sales and lead-generation activities Keeps competitive through active monitoring of competitor initiatives and activities. Operate pressure washer machinery safely and effectively to clean a variety of surfaces
Use degreasers or removal of chemicals as the label recommends when requested by supervision
Maintain established schedule as requested and provide feedback to improve schedule efficiency
Erect scaffolding as needed
Clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials from the area being washed
Carry out company safety procedures
Other manual duties as directed
Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities
Keep tools and equipment in good repair

Qualifications

Must be a current high school/college student
Must either own a vehicle OR have reliable access to a vehicle for the duration of the contract
Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers
Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety

Compensation

Weekly Salary of $420

Job Overview
During the duration of employment, the employee will complete two appointments per day on a Monday to Friday schedule.
The First will occur at 9 am, the second at 1 pm. You will be responsible for transporting the following provided equipment
Pressure washer
Telescoping pole
Gas can
Hoses
Any scaffolding needed
