🚨 Repeat Offender! 😹
Skye was this morning's rescue, and she was a familiar face. We first met 5 months ago in another tree that she got stuck in. She's a slow learner, but super cute though!! And she promised to stop climbing trees 😻

UPDATE: 7:20PM Peanut returned and is now safely with The Cat Collaborative 🫶❤️😻🫶❤️❤️😻🫶❤️🫶😻🫶❤️. Please go 'Like', 'Follow', and consider donating to them. They're the BEST!!!

UPDATE 8:40AM: Zuzu Bee with The Cat Collaborative is there but unfortunately the other neighbor took her cage back. Peanut is gone. We think she let her out and brought her cage inside 😿. My original contact went over and spoke with the neighbor. The Cat Collaborative is going to set traps to get her back and the other nearby strays 🫶

I'll make a cute rescue post later... This is the "We need help/advice post"

Poor Peanut spent 5 days stuck in a tree before I rescued her this morning. Luckily she was microchipped, so I was able to get in contact with her owner. That's where things get a little weird...

Her owner lives 30 minutes away and says she has no idea how her cat got there. Then stated that she gave her to a friend/co worker, who maybe gave her to another friend? She says she'll take Peanut back but can't pick her up until after 4pm today because she's heading to work soon. I couldn't stay or take her anywhere because I also have work. The good Samaritan who reached out to me for help can't look after Peanut but thinks she'll be fine left in the cage outside all day. I just don't want anyone else at the apartment complex messing with her, and she should probably go to a vet ASAP to get fluids.

HELP PLEASE!

Kitty was mostly cooperative this morning, which was a great start to my birthday! 😻🎂

He spent several days high up in that tree contemplating all the decisions that led him there. He was ready to be rescued, mostly 😹. Thanks to Delectables Cat Treats, I was able to gain his trust with a chicken puree. He was a little vocal about being picked up after his meal, but he didn't put up a fight. He was a sweet boy!

Now's a great time to gift 2027 calendars to friends and family, while helping support animals in need! 🫶😻

OUR KITTIES MADE THE COVER!!! 😻🎉

A huge thank-you to Philadoptables for including our PURR kitties in the 2027 Hunks for Hounds calendar—and giving them the COVER 😻😻😻.

Over the last few years, we have been so grateful to be included in the calendar at all! It was such an honor when cats were first invited to join a calendar that was historically dedicated to hunks and hounds. Our kitties were officially infiltrating the dog rescue world! 😂🐾. But the COVER?! You cannot imagine our surprise and excitement when we found out. Literally took our breath away and we are still over the moon ❤️❤️❤️.

As thrilled as we are to see our cats front and center, we are even prouder to be associated with the amazing people behind this calendar. Philadoptables does soooooo much for animals throughout the Philadelphia area — supporting rescue groups, individual families, and animals who need someone in their corner. Their kindness, compassion, and generosity mean so much to those of us doing this work and they have changed the lives of so many animals in need 💗💕💗💕.

We also want to send a huge thanks to the amazing guys from Tesla Tree Service for being the human models with our kitties. They are literal heroes who have saved hundreds (if not thousands) of kitties from life threatening situations. As a bonus, they are also quite easy on the eyes 🤪. We are so proud to be paired with them 😻😻😻.

Please consider buying a calendar—or a few! They make wonderful gifts, feature some very handsome humans and ridiculously adorable animals, and support an organization that gives so much to our rescue community.

Let’s help make 2027 their biggest calendar sales year yet! Thank you, Philadoptables, for everything you do—and for giving our kitties their cover-star moment! 😻📸

Rue is the cutest kitten in all of Roxborough! She was this morning's cat-in-a-tree rescue, 60th for the year! With high voltage power lines nearby, the climb was challenging, but Rue made up for it by being so sweet and appreciative 😻

Meet Ginger! She's today's cat-in-a-tree rescue from Philly, and my first rescue using Duane Hook from Getmeowtahere - Cat in a Tree Rescue's custom cat grabber bag! He has finger holes in the bag for a simple scruff, lift, and invert - to quickly and safely secure that precious cargo. 😻 It worked perfectly 🫶 Thanks Duane!!

I'll probably post a video soon, but continue following along for our more detailed videos courtesy of The Dodo as they get caught up to our current rescues 🫶

Farffle was my very first cat-in-a-tree rescue! She needs a new home though ASAP. Her current humans are elderly and burdened with health issues. Please share or consider rehoming her 🫶😿
