We are excited to invite high school rugby players, parents, and coaches to join us for our upcoming Army West Point Rugby Recruiting Webinar.
The mission of the United States Military Academy is to develop leaders of character for our nation. Our mission as the Army West Point Rugby program is aligned with that. We are focused on developing the best future leaders in our country by being the best team in the country and the best teammates in the Corps of Cadets.
We use rugby as a tool to teach Trust, Commitment, Love, and Selfless Service in pursuit of that mission.
This one-hour webinar will give families a real look inside:
• The Army West Point Rugby program
• The United States Military Academy
• The cadet athlete experience
• The recruiting and admissions process
• Life after graduation and post-graduate opportunities
High school boys rugby players, parents, and coaches are all welcome.

Interesting take on this since I have also seen a huge uptick in students creating their own non-profits. What do you think? Is this a good step for students?

High school students are increasingly establishing nonprofit organizations, contributing to an explosion in the sector over the last two decades. From 2002 to 2023, approximately 700,000 new 501(c)(3) organizations registered in the United States, an increase of 85 percent.

More than simply giving back to the community, founding and leading a nonprofit organization elevates a student's profile by giving them a title, status, and the perception of an enterprising spirit on college applications. The student nonprofit founder has now become the new standard for exceptionalism among college applicants."
