2’ on center framing can raise eyebrows in some places—but when paired with spray foam, strength increases up to 200%. This build gets spray foam first, then an R-13 fiberglass batt over the top for added R-Value and to this customer, sound dampening! Because believe it or not, it’s windy in Wyoming!

Nothing quite like spraying foam on the top side of an 8/12 roof! 4" of 2lb closed cell.

We sprayed on top to prevent what's called "hot roof" Whats your thoughts on "hot roof"? Is it a reasonable concern? Is it sweating the petty? Or have you never put much thought into it!:)

Contrary to popular belief foam gets slippery after it sets up! Good thing for ice cleats!
