🌱 FOLLOW THIS HYDROSEEDING STORY! 🌱

This yard is a perfect example of why PATience is key when it comes to establishing a new lawn! 👏

We hydroseeded this yard in early June with Centipede seed — a beautiful grass, but one that is naturally slower-growing than some other varieties.

Then, within just a week of seeding… 🌧️🌧️🌧️
We started getting torrential downpours, off and on, for weeks!

And remember — this was freshly tilled dirt when we seeded it. While hydroseeding is extremely effective, it is NOT completely erosion-proof. Those heavy rains had us worried that a lot of the seed had been washed away.

But then… 🌱 we started seeing those little sprouts! 🌱

And look at it now! 🙌

There are still some thin areas and exposed spots — and that’s OKAY! This lawn is still establishing. Centipede takes its time, and seed simply doesn’t grow overnight.

Our expectation is that this yard will continue filling in throughout the fall and into next growing season. It may not be fully thick and filled in until next year, as the grass continues to spread and fill those gaps.

👉 The biggest takeaway? DON’T GIVE UP TOO SOON!

Hydroseeding takes proper preparation, water, care… and most importantly, PATIENCE. ❤️

🌱 Freshly seeded ≠ instant lawn.
🌱 Centipede ≠ overnight growth.
🌱 A few thin spots ≠ failure.
