Every project has its own challenges, but this one especially.
I was contacted about matching some 100 year old trim in a house being restored near Dexter.

I located the Douglas Fir and I think I got it pretty close. The mid sized piece took 18 passes and the large one was 26 passes on the router to work out the profile as well as hand plane and chisel work to finish it off.

Quarter sawn white oak covers. These are a little bit of a pain to make, but turned out nicely.
