Prague did not disappoint! Beauty everywhere you look. I loved the floor tiling as it reminded me of quilt squares. Unfortunately their textile production has ceased so I could not find a quilt shop. But I did find this cute home boutique where all items are sewn by disabled people in Slovenia. (I chose a pillowcase) Our last stop on vacation was enjoyed and now we’re ready to be home!

Our time in 🇩🇪 Germany has come to an end. What a beautiful country it is! To finally visit the homeland of my ancestors AND meet family that I just discovered this year was beyond a dream come true. The building where my great grandfather lived (old photo is of his oldest sister and her children) is still owned, over 100 years later, by one branch of the family is just astounding to me. This vacation will forever be in my ❤️

I’ve been busy enjoying a European vacation! Our first leg was France, visiting with our exchange student from 19 years ago! My sewn gifts to the family were a tote bag (my first time to sew this), little girl purses and heart oven mitts. Her dad’s home is our home away from home! We were able to visit Notre Dame cathedral, Normandy American cemetery and Mont Saint Michel 💗
