IMPORTANT: I removed and replaced a PLY GEM thermo-pane in early Aug 2022. The manufacturer's video leaves out some replacement steps, which is this: some of the original installations included a bead of silicone caulk that sealed the thermo-pane into the frame unnecessarily.

For instance, in Pickerington neighborhood off of Shawnee Dr. since roughly 2014, and now, some of those thermo-panes are beginning to leak and trigger warranty work.

The window panes fit air-tight without needing any silicone caulking because the windows are designed and built well to keep outside air from getting inside past the thermo-pane. That's the point, right.

It is very difficult and unsafe to attempt removing caulked-in thermo-panes. The secret to this job is a spray bottle of silicon remover.

Safety glasses, rubber gloves, floor coverings, ladders and an assistant may all be necessary. The secret is to apply silicone remover first; it's safe and easy to use but adds a measure of mess to clean-up.

Figure 2.5 hours per pane 2ft. by 3ft. And the company doesn't have installers on-hand for warranty work. So, schedule SKILLED labor to R+R a PLY GEM thermo-panes.

What's it cost to hire this Handyman?

Answer: If your task or project is residential then the suggested remuneration is $200/day or $30/hr.

If your job is a commercial property my costs is $40/hr because working commercial is more demanding physically and mentally than residential, and is usually more challenging to meet expectations.

Anyway, you get what you pay for. No?

Ok, after looking into this matter carefully - respectfully, I think your need for a handyman is kinda like this: You hope to find ...
.. a man or woman to work tasks or projects in or near your home or business, especially in Huntington Hills+Pickerington, and surrounding areas.

This convenient person/contractor should be a nice person who is especially-handy around the home, who is smart and can lift heavy stuff like 50 lbs, and who you can be trusted with delicate things as well as other things, and who can be discreet about everything.

But especially, you want them to be capable of handling lots of different residential+commercial tasks or project challenges effectively with no scheming, scamming, over-charging or being unreasonable or unfair; and they have to clean-up after themselves.

And, you want them to sensibly communicate, in a timely way, be consistent, and they should sound, look, present themselves decently on-site most of the time.

That's probably not asking too much, really, at least, not in my opinion. When I need help with stuff, that's what I look for each time.

That explains a lot, right?
