Another beautiful project completed by the Moore Asphalt crew!

This job started with installing, grading and preparing the gravel base using our new Komatsu 51PXi. Once the base was finished, we installed a 2" binder course followed by a 2" surface course, placing approximately 1,500 tons of asphalt with the new Leeboy 8520.

From start to finish, this project showcases our commitment to delivering a quality product with the right equipment and an experienced crew.

Another busy week in the books!

Here are a couple of the projects we completed this week.

Project #1: We removed and replaced 1,100 feet of roadway in a local community, giving residents a smooth, long-lasting surface.

Project #2: We completed a full-depth asphalt patch in another community. We removed the failed pavement, corrected the underlying sinking issues, and installed new asphalt to provide a solid, durable repair.

A long time coming, but we've officially added a new Komatsu 51PXi with integrated GPS to our fleet!

This machine allows us to grade our projects with incredible precision in nearly half the time of our competitors. On our latest project—a new Sunbelt Rentals in Greenwood—we installed and fine graded over 2,000 tons of stone base in just 8 hours.

A huge thank you to Linder Machinery and their team of experts for coming out, getting the machine set up, and making sure we were ready to hit the ground running. We're excited to put this technology to work and continue delivering quality projects faster and more efficiently.

We added a new LeeBoy 8520 to the fleet and put it straight to work!

In just two weeks, we've put over 3,500 tons through this machine, running 13+ hour days, and it hasn't skipped a beat. It's proven itself from day one.

At Moore Asphalt, we're committed to delivering the highest quality work, and that starts with investing in the best equipment for our customers.

We're not stopping there—another new piece of equipment is joining the fleet this week.
