We received a call from a homeowner who originally wanted to remove the old carpet, give the existing hardwood floors a deep cleaning, and perform a screen and recoat.
However, once we removed the carpet, we discovered that the hardwood underneath was so badly damaged that it couldn’t even be sanded and refinished.
Since the homeowner didn’t want to install carpet again because they have an elderly pet, we recommended the best long-term solution: installing new Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) flooring and adding 1/4” plywood to level the subfloor.
The result is a beautiful, durable, and low-maintenance floor that will serve them well for years to come.

It definitely took a lot of hard work, patience, and extra time to bring it back to life, but we did everything possible to make the floor look its best again.
