Sending a big shout out this morning to Team Detrick. (And they are a true team)

Recently one of their team members had his car broken into, and the thief stole all his work gear, Mountain State’s clothing, and other valuables. But good crews are always looking out for each other, so the rest of the guys quickly donated all their accumulated Safety Dollars, so he could purchase new safety toe boots, work clothing, and gear to get back on the job.

Being able to respond quickly to rail projects and problems is crucial to our customers, and we just wouldn't be as good at that without our shop team.

They recently took this trailer and modified it to haul rail equipment with our own crews and drivers, giving us the ability to move quickly and efficiently between jobs.

While the weather was too hot in July for some, it was just right for Charleston and the Rail Gang to replace a couple miles of CWR for multiple customers. One of the most important parts of rail laying is managing the expansion and contraction, and it's crucial that it be cut and anchored at the correct neutral temperatures. This rail was all prepared and welded earlier in the year by Andrew and the Flashbutt welders, waiting for the perfect time to install it. Doing our own welding gives us the flexibility to deliver the best product for our customers, another reason MSC should be your "go to" for all things railroad.

It's home builders week! While Rudy's crew has been up in central Arizona building out for a fixtures manufacturer, Team Eddie was down in southwest Arizona doing some much needed track replacement for this Truss Manufacturing customer. Getting them back in service quickly, safely, and ready to go for another 25 years!! Well done guys! It's a tough time of year to be working in Yuma, but when there's work to be done, Eddie and the boys always answer the call!
