At the Durango Maricopa County facility, the site is transitioning to receiving primary power from APS. K2 Electric is installing new APS switchboards and transformers while converting the existing SES switchgear into sub switchboards and distribution boards.

The scope includes underground and overhead conduit installation, panel swaps, ATS replacements, and preparation for power transfer. Despite complex existing conditions, detailed planning and coordination have kept the project on track for successful, timely completion.

A milestone worth recognizing.

At K2 Electric, apprenticeship is about more than classroom training. It is about developing the next generation of electricians through hands-on experience, accountability, and continuous growth.

This year, we celebrated 6 apprenticeship graduates and recognized 34 apprentices across our IEC of Southern Arizona and WECA programs. We also honored 21 apprentices who earned A grades through their hard work and dedication.

From the field to the classroom, these individuals continue to invest in their future and advance the trade. This is what investing in people looks like.
