Spent our Saturday with the community at Ironwood Crossing Our plant potting is always a hit! If you took home one of our custom designed vinca pots, don’t forget daily watering will be key as Arizona temps start heating up (which is… basically now).

it might look like the end of the world as a homeowner watching rejuvenation but plants will thank you.

we know it can feel wrong cutting back and removing most of the foliage. homeowners often worry when they see it, but rejuvenation pruning is actually one of the best things you can do for plant health.

this process encourages fuller growth, removes old material, and gives plants a fresh start so they can grow back lush, green, and properly sized for your landscape.

We had the great opportunity to do a group tour at the Arizona Worm Farm, located at 8430 S 19th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85041. Our guide Daniel shared some amazing facts about the importance of the red worm and the role it plays in producing their organic compost.

It was a really fun and informative experience learning how these small worms make such a big impact on soil and sustainability. Our team had an amazing time, and we highly recommend the tour to anyone interested in composting, gardening, or just learning something new.

Green of the Month:
Desert Milkweed Asclepias subulata

This tough, low-water plant isn’t just great for desert landscapes it’s a lifeline for Monarch butterflies. While Monarchs pass through Arizona during migration (October to April), Desert Milkweed (Asclepias subulata) is one of the few plants where they lay their eggs and feed their caterpillars. With Monarch populations declining due to habitat loss, planting native milkweed helps create vital ā€œstepping stonesā€ for pollinators across our communities. Support pollinators and plant with purpose!

🌼 Vincas are everywhere... and yeah, there's a reason for that.

They’re colorful. They survive desert heat like champs. And let’s be honest—they’re basically the summer MVP of HOA flower beds.

But what if you want your landscape to stand out a little?
Our very own Robbie Cole wrote a blog post breaking down other flower options that can survive the Arizona heat without blending into the Vinca crowd.

Think Portulacas, Angelonias, Blue Salvias, Pentas — even cactus with bloom game. 🌵🌸

Lawns are trimmed. Edges are crisp. Crews? Running purely on caffeine and pure end-of-week energy.

Whether it’s gas in the mower or coffee in the cup, we’re fully powered up and pushing through to the weekend.

Drop your favorite Friday coffee or energy drink in the comments . We’re always looking for new fuel sources.
Bonus points if it sounds questionable but somehow works.
