Today is June 10th, and I just learned that June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month.

Honestly, I'm disappointed it took 10 days for me to hear about it.

Men are often told to be strong, tough, providers, protectors, and problem solvers. We carry the weight of our businesses, our jobs, our families, our finances, and our responsibilities. Many of us do it without ever talking about the pressure we're under.

The truth is, strength isn't pretending everything is okay.

Strength is admitting when you're struggling.
Strength is asking for help when you need it.
Strength is checking on your friends.
Strength is refusing to suffer in silence.

To every man reading this: your value is not determined by how much pain you can carry alone.

Check on your brothers. Make the call. Send the text. Have the conversation.

Someone's life may depend on it.
