A credenza with a bold signature at its center.

Crafted in block mottled anigre, this piece carries a sweeping "bowtie" across its face in amboyna burl, outlined by a 1/4" steel inlay on either side. The doors are all touch-latched, keeping the front clean and uninterrupted. It sits on a solid maple base painted steel grey, tying it back to the bookcases in the same office.

Sharp lines, rich figure, and a design made to be noticed.

Steel and maple, coming together in the shop.

This Workshop Wednesday, we’re sharing a set of bookcases built around custom steel frames, finished in a steel-grey paint for a clean, architectural profile. Solid curly maple shelves are assembled around the steel supports, their soft figure adding warmth against the cool metal. Each unit is secured to the wall with a steel angle, keeping the leaning silhouette steady and secure.

A returning client, and another furniture piece made to belong.

This office credenza is framed in walnut burl, stained to match existing pieces in the room. Inside and out, the drawers and doors are finished in engineered VG fir veneer, its fine, straight grain offering a crisp contrast to the swirling burl. The whole piece sits on a custom chromed steel base, adding a sleek, polished edge.

A fresh week, and a kids’ office built to grow with them.

The desk unit is crafted in block mottled makore, stained to a rich, dark chocolate tone that lets the figure ripple through every surface. An L-shaped desk anchors the room, backed by a tall paneled wall with a sculpted top edge and floating shelves stepping out on either side, with drawers and cabinets tucked neatly below for books, projects, and everything in between.

A space made for homework, big ideas, and whatever the week brings.

Quilted maple wraps every surface, its rippling figure shifting with the light across a curved cabinet tower, floating shelves, and a full run of desk and storage. Macassar ebony accents line the shelf edges, desk, and base, adding depth and contrast to the high-gloss finish.

A master bath where every curve is considered.

The cabinetry is veneered in iced birch, its soft, shimmering figure carried across every door and drawer front, with ebony accents tracing crisp lines along each run. The main vanity sweeps in a gentle curve, and at the center of the sink doors sits a custom piece of cast bronze, adding a sculptural detail right where the eye lands.

Light, layered, and finished with intention from one end of the room to the other.

Standing tall, in every sense.

This fireplace surround is wrapped in ebony veneer, rising 15 feet tall and spanning 9 feet wide. The radiused sides measure 27 inches wide and sweep 14 inches proud of the stone, giving the surround its sculptural depth and letting the grain flow continuously around each curve.

A new week, and a project that holds a special place in our history.

This study is wrapped in walnut and walnut burl, from floor to ceiling. Overhead, a coffered ceiling of deep walnut beams meets at burl pyramid caps, giving the room its architectural rhythm. Below, burl paneling frames the fireplace, flows into floating shelves and a lit display niche, and carries through the desk, storage, and media wall.

Every surface works together, creating a space that feels warm, layered, and entirely its own.

A room that still sets the tone for the work we love to do.

The bar, taking shape in the shop before heading out.

The exterior is wrapped in Tineo veneer, its bold horizontal grain carried continuously around each corner. Inside, Swiss pearwood ties the bar back to the rest of the kitchen, with sliding doors gliding along the back run for easy access to storage.

A built-in w**e fridge sits flush within the cabinetry, framed in matching veneer, while a custom slatted w**e rack and open shelving keep everything within reach.

Every piece fitted and checked in the shop, ready for its place in the home.
