Another piece from a small furniture package built for a Beverly Hills designer.

These nightstands feature a faceted rift white oak body with a seamless three-drawer front, sitting on a brass base for a subtle contrast between warm wood and metal. A clean, tailored look for a custom bedroom design.

Another take on a design we've built out a few times, but always fun to see it come together in a new wood species.

This oak dining table features a geometric angled base, with panels wrapped around aluminum plates for added strength and a crisp, defined form. Finished in a deep, dark stain, it takes on a whole different character from earlier pieces built in this same shape.

Some builds test every skill in the shop, and this one was one of the top.

This oval dining table features a curved walnut veneer pedestal base, stained dark, with compound curves that had to be built up in sections and shaped by hand before the veneer could be applied. Getting the base to read as one continuous, seamless form took serious time and precision.

A different kind of custom project: decorative panels for a designer we work with, cut with a triangle pattern that reveals a portrait of Einstein.

The design uses a gradient of triangular cutouts, dense in some areas and scattered in others, to let the image emerge as you step back and take it in. Once installed, the panels bring texture, light play, and a bit of personality to the space.

New week, new project. Here is a first look at a beach condo project we are just getting started on.

The scope covers full cabinetry, woodwork, and doors throughout, kitchen, primary bedroom furniture, primary bath, laundry area, powder bath, and a desk and bookcase area.

One detail already planned is a closet that connects to the linen space with a pocket door wrapping around, and a captain’s bed with four built in drawers for the primary bedroom. Drawings are just getting started, so this is the beginning of a project we will be following closely.

A large kitchen build taking shape in the shop.

So far this covers the island and the sink wall, which sits beneath windows opening to an outdoor space. Fronts throughout will be plain sliced walnut, and the design will also include two long floor to ceiling paneled walls with integrated doors. Still early days, more to come as it comes together.

Every full-height pantry wall starts long before it reaches its final resting place.

This one is coming together in matte black, AGT soft touch fronts paired with Blum Legrabox drawers in Carbon Matte Black for a clean, monolithic look. Once installed, it will house paneled fridge and freezer fronts so the appliances disappear right into the wall. Floor-to-ceiling storage, built to feel like part of the architecture rather than an add-on.

Function should feel effortless, right down to the smallest details.

This utensil drawer insert was designed with real hand clearance in mind, room enough to lift out a knife, fork, or spoon and set it back without any fuss. Small design choices like this make a daily habit feel a little more thoughtful.

This credenza wraps figured eucalyptus veneer around every surface, inside and out, so the grain movement carries through no matter where you look. It sits on a solid satin brass frame that lifts the whole piece off the floor, paired with custom solid brass handles that pick up the same warm tone.
