🌵 Cactus, Gravel & Desert Plants: A Smart Combination for Arizona Landscapes.

There’s a reason these elements work so well together in Arizona.

Cacti store water in their stems, making many species well-adapted to dry conditions. Pair them with agave, desert shrubs, ornamental grasses, and decorative gravel, and you get a landscape with contrasting textures, natural color, and year-round visual interest.

Here’s something worth knowing: Not every cactus thrives in full Arizona sun. Some species benefit from afternoon shade, especially in the Phoenix area.
