In Arizona, covered parking is already valuable. What if it could generate electricity too?

Commercial solar carports let businesses put existing parking areas to work while creating something employees, customers, and visitors appreciate every summer: shade.

For the right property, a solar parking canopy can provide:

☀️ On-site solar generation
🚗 Shaded parking
🏢 Productive use of existing space
⚡ Potential integration with EV charging
📉 Reduced reliance on utility electricity

The electrical work behind a large solar carport matters just as much as the panels overhead.

Watt Masters provides the wiring, underground conduit, electrical integration, and coordination needed to connect commercial solar carports properly, working alongside structural contractors and GCs when required.

Not every commercial solar project belongs on a roof.

If your Arizona property has available land, a ground-mounted solar system can give you more flexibility in how the array is designed, oriented, accessed, and expanded.

That can be especially valuable when a building has limited usable roof area, heavy HVAC equipment, structural constraints, or future rooftop plans.

Ground-mount solar can offer:

☀️ Flexible panel placement and orientation
🔧 Easier access for inspection and maintenance
📈 Room to scale when the site allows
🏢 No competition with rooftop HVAC, skylights, or equipment
⚡ Large-scale generation without relying on the building roof

Watt Masters handles the electrical side from the array to the facility, including underground conduit, wiring, equipment integration, and grid connection.

Have open land at your Phoenix-area commercial property?

Let's determine whether putting that space to work makes sense.

Commercial solar can make financial sense. The incentives can make the numbers even better.

For Arizona businesses considering solar, available federal tax incentives, depreciation, and other potential benefits can have a meaningful impact on project economics.

But incentives aren't one-size-fits-all. Eligibility and value can depend on the project, when construction begins, when it's placed in service, labor requirements, equipment, and other factors.

That's why the right question isn't simply, "What solar incentives are available?"
It's "What does the complete financial picture look like for our property?"

Watt Masters designs and installs commercial solar systems around the facility, electrical infrastructure, energy needs, and long-term goals of the business.

🏢☀️ That big, empty commercial roof may be one of your property's most underused assets.

For warehouses, offices, retail centers, and industrial facilities, commercial rooftop solar can turn existing building space into on-site electricity generation without dedicating additional land to the array.

But usable roof area isn't the only question.

A properly planned commercial rooftop solar project also considers:

📐 Roof condition, layout, and usable space
🏗️ Structural requirements and equipment loads
⚡ Existing electrical service and distribution
🔌 Inverters, conduit, wiring, and interconnection
🌤️ Shading and system layout
🛠️ Access for roofing, HVAC, and future maintenance
📋 Permitting, inspections, and utility requirements

That planning matters on Arizona commercial buildings, where large flat roofs often already contain HVAC equipment, drains, scuppers, parapets, electrical equipment, and required access areas.

Watt Masters combines commercial solar installation with experienced electrical contracting, helping make sure the infrastructure behind the panels is designed and installed correctly.

Serving Arizona since 1999.

Have a commercial roof you're considering for solar? Let's take a look at its real potential.

☀️🏢 For a business, solar isn't just about putting panels on a roof. It's about designing an energy system around the property and how it uses power.

A warehouse may have acres of usable rooftop. Another facility may be better suited for a ground-mounted array. A retail center or office property may benefit from turning its parking area into solar-covered shade.

That's why Watt Masters approaches commercial solar installation in Arizona as an electrical infrastructure project first.

Depending on the property, options can include:

🏭 Large commercial rooftop solar
🌱 Ground-mounted arrays
🚗 Solar carports and parking canopies
⚡ Solar electrical wiring and infrastructure
🔌 Utility interconnection and commissioning
🛠️ Ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting

The right solution depends on much more than available square footage. Existing electrical service, energy usage, roof condition, structural considerations, equipment placement, utility requirements, and long-term serviceability all matter.

Watt Masters has served Arizona since 1999, with in-house electrical expertise behind the work.

🔧🏠 Need a new roof, but already have solar? Don't let the panels become an afterthought.

Replacing a roof with an existing solar system takes coordination between the roofer and a contractor who understands the electrical system.

Watt Masters provides solar panel removal and reinstallation in Phoenix and throughout the Valley for homeowners and commercial properties preparing for roof work.

The process includes:

☀️ Safely shutting down and removing the existing array
🔧 Protecting panels and electrical components during roofing
🏠 Coordinating with your roofing contractor
⚡ Reinstalling and reconnecting the solar system
📊 Confirming the system is operating after reinstallation

This is more than taking panels off and putting them back. Wiring, connectors, racking, roof attachments, grounding, and system operation all need to be handled correctly.

Watt Masters has served Arizona as an electrical contractor since 1999, so the electrical side of your solar system stays in experienced hands while your roofer handles the roof.

🏢☀️ That big, empty commercial roof may be one of your property's most valuable energy assets.

Commercial rooftop solar can turn otherwise unused roof space into on-site electricity generation without taking up additional land or parking areas. But getting good long-term performance takes more than filling every available square foot with panels.

Watt Masters designs and installs commercial rooftop solar systems throughout Arizona, including warehouses, distribution centers, offices, retail properties, schools, and other commercial facilities.

A properly planned system needs to account for factors such as:

☀️ Available roof area, orientation, and shading
🏗️ Roof condition and structural requirements
⚡ Existing electrical service and capacity
🔌 Inverter and electrical equipment placement
📐 System sizing and electrical design
🛠️ Racking, attachment, and roof penetrations where applicable
⚡ Utility interconnection and commissioning
🔧 Long-term service and maintenance access

In Arizona, equipment also has to perform through intense summer heat and demanding rooftop conditions.

Watt Masters has served Arizona since 1999. Our electrical background means we look beyond the panels to the infrastructure that makes the entire solar system work safely and reliably.
