A New Chapter for Cawley Architects!

We’re excited to announce two important leadership promotions at Cawley Architects: Lynette Dreitz Fort has been named Chief Executive Officer, and Rafael Macias has been named President.

Both Lynette and Rafael have been longtime leaders at Cawley, bringing decades of combined experience and a deep commitment to our people, our clients and the work we do.

Lynette has helped guide Cawley’s financial and operational growth for the past 13 years, while Rafael brings 46 years of architectural and project leadership experience—including 12 years with Cawley.

Their leadership marks an exciting next chapter for a firm that has been part of the Phoenix community for more than 32 years, completing 1,000+ projects and more than 25 million square feet of work across five states.

We’re proud to have Lynette and Rafael at the helm and look forward to all that’s ahead.

Today we celebrate Gordon DuSell’s 10-year anniversary with Cawley Architects.

Gordon serves as Director of Architecture, where he plays a key role in upholding the firm’s highest standards of design quality, technical excellence, and construction documentation.

He works closely with project teams and firm leadership to guide material selections, strengthen construction administration processes, and ensure consistent quality control across all phases of delivery. Gordon is also a trusted mentor to junior staff and collaborates to support exceptional client service and project outcomes.

A licensed architect in Arizona and a member of NCARB, Gordon brings deep technical expertise paired with a strong creative foundation shaped early in life by his artist parents. He holds a Master of Architecture from Tulane University and has called Phoenix home for more than 30 years.

We’re grateful for his leadership, dedication, and the lasting impact he continues to make on our projects and our team.
