Excited to announce we cleaned up at AZ Masonry Awards last weekend for our Casa Blanca South Residence. We took home the Honor Award for Residential Project, The Craftsmanship Award, and the best award of the night...the Golden Trowel!

As with anything in architecture, a successful project is a collaboration from the start to finish. Working closely with Interstate Brick and their engineers understanding their capabilities, then bringing on our Specialty Structural Engineer Tom Reiner with Talweg Studios. We met with Barry of , who brought in his years of experience and best mason’s to get the project built. The contractor, Travis Custom Homes who managed the construction. The brick distributors .stone. And the Developer Jordan Vasbinder , who allows us to push beyond the typical design warranted for a spec home. And WRX’s Associate architect Elizabeth Reiter who dreamed up this idea and collaborated with all these people to make it happen.

It’s a great feeling to be recognized by our peers in this industry! Thank you to everyone involved!

WORKSBUREAU in collaboration with , Holualoa Companies, and is honored to receive the 2026 RED Multifamily Project of the Year Award for Dwell @ 5th and Farmer.

It was great team effort on a challenging site with a committed developer that resulted in a special project; cool urban workforce housing in Tempe.

AND…the mural was produced by our own Fritz Morton – his first large scale mural.
