It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of a cherished member of our Empire family, Kayla, who lost her life in a car accident this past weekend.

For more than 7 years, Kayla was a familiar voice and face to so many of you. She always brought positive energy, unwavering dedication, and a desire to provide the very best service. Beyond her contributions to our business, Kayla brought something that simply cannot be replaced: her warmth, her infectious spirit, and that unforgettable, contagious giggle.

Her absence will be felt deeply throughout our organization and by the countless people whose days she made a little brighter. Our hearts and deepest condolences are with Kayla’s family and loved ones during this unimaginable time.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, compassion, and continued support as our Empire family grieves. Kayla was truly one of a kind, and she will be deeply missed.

If interested, ways to support the family will be made available in the coming days.

Leadership isn’t sitting in an office telling people how the industry works. It’s knowing the shop, knowing the contractors and still being willing to show up when something needs to get done.

Meet Levi, the son of one of our Empire employees and, if he gets his way, a future Empire employee himself. 👀We love hearing that.
The skilled trades create careers, real opportunities, and skills that can last a lifetime. When the next generation is already excited about getting into the shop, we’d say the future is looking pretty good. 💪
Keep working hard, Levi. We might just have a spot waiting for you someday. 😉

Empire metal out in the wild. 👀🔥 One of our contractors sent us this shot of Empire-fabricated metal being installed at the new Dick’s Sporting Goods.
There’s something pretty cool about seeing what leaves our shop become part of projects happening all over the Valley.
Thanks for sending this one our way! 💪
See Empire metal on your jobsite? Tag us or send us a photo, we want to see where it ends up.
