Sgt. John Kyle DaggettAs Memorial Day weekend begins, we wanted to pause for a moment.
At DX, most days move fast.
Jobsites. Deliveries. Pickups. Crews trying to keep projects moving across the Phoenix Valley.
But this weekend is bigger than work.
This year, we’re remembering Sgt. John Kyle Daggett — an Arizona Army Ranger killed in action in Iraq at just 21 years old.
His sister, Kendall, has continued honoring his memory here in Arizona with a Memorial Day tribute outside her home in Surprise. Recently, her story reminded a lot of people across the Valley that Memorial Day is not abstract for families like theirs.
It’s personal.
Behind every flag is a real person.
A real family.
A sacrifice still carried years later.
Before the long weekend fully begins, we simply want to say:
We remember.
We honor.
And we’re grateful.
To all who gave everything for this country — thank you.
