New Pebble finish: sometimes we recommend a brown coat finish prior to our New Mini Pebble installation; this ensures a waterproof layer is applied over the gunite/shotcrete shell before installing tile or finishing materials. It acts as a leveling coat to create smooth surfaces, fill in divots, hide rebar rust, and provide a uniform, stable base for final finishes.
