The TWBN Parade was something special.🤠Walking alongside so many incredible tradeswomen from across the country was a reminder of how powerful we are when we come together. Different trades, different locals, but one big sisterhood! 💪👷‍♀️

Standing shoulder to shoulder with our sisters and allies. We’re lifting each other up, breaking barriers, and showing the next generation what’s possible.🤠⚡️
6,000+ strong, and we’re just getting started! 🔥✊

Yesterday was a good one.💙

It was great seeing IBEW members out there at the canvass launch, including our ReNew brothers Michael Meli, Nate Hauschild, Women’s Committee sister Colleen Scheid, and our IBEW Rep Dean W**e out there putting in the work.

We were also joined by Governor Hobbs, Attorney General Kris Mayes, and AFSCME President Patrick Moran. It was great seeing so many union folks come together and get out there for working people. Election Day will be here before we know it. Save the date, NOVEMBER 3rd 🗳️.

Keep showing up. Keep making your voice heard. WE FIGHT. WE WIN. 💙

TOMORROW OCTOBER 5th last day to REGISTER TO VOTE 🗳️

Meet the officers of the IBEW Local 640 Women’s Committee💙
Janae Jones — President
Colleen Scheid— Vice President
Kendale Mann— Recording Secretary
Kim Tyler— Treasurer
Darcey Knittel— Sergeant-at-Arms

We’re a group of sisters who want to create opportunities to connect, support our members, give back to our community, and encourage more sisters and brothers to get involved.

You’ll see us doing a little bit of everything, from Trunk-or-Treat 🎃 and breast cancer walks 💝 to food and shoe drives, supporting ReNew, volunteering with EWMC, phone banking, canvassing, and getting out there to support IBEW, working people, and our union.

And of course, none of it happens without all of the brothers and sisters who volunteer, donate, participate, and show up. We appreciate you more than you know. 💙

If you see one of us around the hall, come say hi. 😁 Have an idea, want to volunteer, or just curious about what we’re up to? We’d love to meet you. ❤️‍🔥

A little about CLUW 🩵

CLUW stands for the Coalition of Labor Union Women. It was founded in 1974 to bring union women together and give us a stronger voice in the labor movement.
It’s about supporting each other, building solidarity, and helping women get more involved in our unions. Our brothers and allies are an important part of that support too.

If you’re a union sister and haven’t checked out CLUW, take a look and get involved. You never know where a connection or a conversation might lead. ⭐️✊🏼

Hey brothers and sisters, friendly reminder union meeting this Monday.

If you happen to have a little something you’d like to donate, we’ve got a few ways to help out.

👟 New or gently used shoes are being collected for the Turtle Island Warrior Women’s shoe drive to help people experiencing homelessness.
🧻 Gently used towels are also being collected. They’re being turned into cooling rags to help people stay cool.
🧼 New hygiene products are always appreciated too.

🥫 We’re also partnering with EWMC on a food drive for Phoenix Rescue Mission.

No pressure at all, just sharing in case you have something sitting around that could be put to good use. Sometimes the little things really do make a difference.
