Day 1 at new project that’s been 6mo of planning. Over the last 8 years we’ve done the kitchen, master suite, mud room and laundry. Now it’s time to raize the roof! Great people who are entrusting us with their home until they return from London in January.

So Home Depot rental does Rigid Tools warranty work now. My backup 15yr old table saw burned its motor last month and the blade up/down thing broke a year ago. I brought to depot and they called amd said 180.00 to fix cause it wasn’t under warranty.

I called rigid and they found my registration from 15 yrs ago and gave me a lifetime warranty code to give to Depot and said it was all covered.

Got a call from depot it was ready. Went today and there were 8 homeowners renting Saturday stuff.

Saw my saw by back door and took it home and figured I'd just stop in Monday and explain what I did.

While I waited before I stole my saw back there was a brand new saw in box sitting there and I was half thinking it was mine cause ridgid didn't have parts.

3 hours after I got home, Depot called me and said they have had a brand new saw for me sitting there and when was I coming to get it?

I have a lot of ridgid stuff. Can't believe they gave me a brand new 500.00 table saw after 15 years! You MUST register stuff within a short time period but man do they stand behind their lifetime warranty!
