The CollectiV team, in collaboration with church staff and members, has been actively rethinking how first-time visitors arrive, attend, and perceive the First United Methodist Church campus. Additionally, they have considered how to better engage the community by enhancing the building floorplan and exterior areas.

During this process, it became evident that the clearly delineated route to the front of the sanctuary was lacking, and opportunities for interaction before reaching the front door were limited. Based on these initial findings, the team creatively reimagined the approach. They introduced a clearly defined path to the front, incorporated large new shade elements for community and member gatherings, added elevated and mixed seating areas, enhanced the landscape, and generated synergy by converting one of the perimeter rooms to provide direct access to the outdoor space.

Sutton Place is a historic neighborhood in Phoenix originally built in the early 1960’s. CollectiiV was hired to prepare a vision that would help increase the value of their niche community while respecting its history. Our team took inspiration from Ralph Haver's original architecture which includes a unique blend of midcentury modern and Mediterranean. Proposed enhancements include a new entry/sign experience, pool amenity revitalization, water feature, community lighting, and enhanced landscape throughout. The design was well received, and we are excited to move forward with the next round of development plans.

This development project is truly unique and speaks to Arizona State University's desire to make a positive impact in Tempe. We are proud to be a design partner at work on Novus Innovation Corridor.

The idea is to create a walkable collection of offices, housing, retail and restaurants to complete the ring of development around Tempe Butte.

It is always a delight to see residents enjoy the many amenities that are designed with them in mind. Mariposa is an agrarian themed infill parcel in Chandler, AZ. The community features a large pool, spa and several parks including a dog park , a special wedding/event space, and even a butterfly garden. CollectiV partnered with The New Home Company and CVL Consultants to overcome challenges of this tight awkwardly shaped parcel and successfully develop this wonderful community.

It is good to see a design mature into what was intended- great shady spaces, strong park elements, and lots of greenery 👍

Residents of Sienna Hills are often found hiking one of the community trails, enjoying amenities within the many multi-use open space parks, or staying cool underneath mesquite shaded walks.
