Man, this was an interesting build. Never built a chessboard before, just used to the same ole cutting boards. I loved and hated this build so much that I want to do another one just to get the process down better. Beautiful Sapele and curly maple and some Purple Heart and a thin slice of roasted walnut I had lying around. By far my favorite project to date! Thank you for always having the lumber I need! , this one’s ready for pickup bro!
