Did you know that June is National Safety Month and that this year marks 30 years the National Safety Council has been highlighting all the causes of preventable injury and death.
During National Safety Month, we’re reminded that safety is a shared responsibility—one that extends from the decisions we make behind the wheel to the way our roads are thoughtfully designed.
Every choice matters. Staying alert, following speed limits, and driving responsibly help keep everyone safe. At the same time, well-planned infrastructure—clear markings, smart layouts, and safe access points—plays a critical role in guiding those choices and reducing risk.
It’s where human behavior and engineering meet: the safest roads are the result of both mindful drivers and intentional design.
Let’s continue to prioritize safety in every mile we travel and every project we build. 🛣️💛
