Forty years ago today, on May 31, 1986, Midstate Mechanical began with a simple goal: work hard, do things the right way, and take care of people.

As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we’re filled with gratitude for everyone who has been part of this journey. From our dedicated employees and loyal customers to the partners, friends, and communities who have supported us along the way — thank you!

Over the past four decades, we’ve built more than mechanical systems. We’ve built relationships, trust, and a company rooted in pride, integrity, and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Every project, every challenge, and every success has helped shape who we are today.

📣Midstate Mechanical's Special Projects recently completed a rooftop replacement project at the Albertson’s Corporate Office Building involving three of our core divisions — Electrical, Piping, and Sheet Metal.

Our team safely removed and replaced a rooftop AC unit responsible for cooling the elevator equipment room that supports four banks of elevators throughout the building.

Projects like this showcase the coordination, expertise, and teamwork it takes to execute complex mechanical upgrades safely and efficiently. Great work by everyone involved in making this project a success! đź’Ş

🌟Midstate was proud to participate in the inaugural Kitchell Goalball Tournament in partnership with the Foundation for Blind Children this past April! 🌟

The “Just for Fun” community tournament brought together 10 teams and raised more than $14,000 to support individuals with visual impairments while promoting inclusivity and awareness for the sport of Goalball!

We’re grateful to be part of events that strengthen our community, support meaningful causes, and create opportunities for everyone to connect through teamwork and fun. 💙

Last week, Midstate welcomed representatives from CAP and Mortenson to review the pump skid equipment mock-up for the CAP project. đź‘·

The walkthrough provided a valuable opportunity for teams to collaborate on the equipment layout, review installation details, and address questions prior to fabrication and installation. Meetings like these play an important role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment before work moves into the next phase.

At Midstate, we value the opportunity to work alongside our project partners to deliver high-quality solutions through strong communication, coordination, and teamwork. We appreciate the collaboration from everyone involved and look forward to continuing progress on the CAP project.

📣Special Projects Spotlight – Scottsdale Data Center

Midstate Mechanical recently completed a critical cooling system replacement at Scottsdale Data Center — all while maintaining full operational status for the client’s active data racks with zero interruption.

Project Highlights:
• Replaced (4) 15-ton Liebert units
• Installed (1) 10-ton and (1) 8-ton Liebert units along with new rooftop condensers
• Completed over 3 weeks with 3 separate crane picks

This project required seamless coordination between multiple Midstate divisions, including, Sheetmetal, Pipefitters and Electrical Division.

Because this was a critical-path project, daily communication with the on-site IT team was essential throughout the entire process. Midstate’s Service Department also provided 24-hour on-call support to ensure uninterrupted operations every step of the way.

Great work by all teams involved in delivering another successful mission-critical project safely, efficiently, and without downtime. đź’Ş

During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week last month - Honoring 911 dispatchers and emergency personnel for their life-saving work and dedication, our Midstate Mechanical Tucson team had the honor of saying “THANK YOU” to the voices behind the scenes who make such a big difference! 💙

We were grateful to provide lunch from Roma Imports as a token of our appreciation—but more importantly, to recognize the incredible people who answer the call every single day. The calm in the chaos, the steady reassurance in moments of fear, the unseen strength it takes to be there for others at their worst—your work truly matters! You are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated by our team and our community. 💪
